After two years of working together, Chad Chang and Matthew Wong are pleased to announce the completion of the reorganization of Purpose CPA into a full-service accounting firm. Previously, Chad founded Converge Business Advisory in 2016 to provide management consulting services, later adding licensed tax services. Chad joined Purpose CPA as Co-Founder shortly after Matt founded the firm in 2019. Each being designated Accountants for over 10 years, the two have seen how the accounting industry has rapidly changed and how businesses of all sizes can benefit. We are pleased to share the following updates.
Chartered Professional Accountants
Although we refer to ourselves as Purpose CPA, our original logo only contained the word “Purpose”. To celebrate this big milestone, our logo was updated to include the words “Chartered Professional Accountants”. This reflects our ongoing commitment to develop a public practice firm with high quality accounting services. We are proud to share a strong heritage of trust and professionalism with our fellow CPA firms.
Tax and Accounting Services
As part of the reorganization, Tax and Accounting are added to compliment our existing Bookkeeping, Advisory, and Technology services. As a digital-first firm, our clients can receive a cloud-based experience for all aspects of accounting and tax. From preparing your books in cloud-based applications like QuickBooks Online and Wagepoint to receiving crucial consulting services from our Advisors via Slack and Zoom. We aim to extend that same digital experience for tax preparation and financial reports using applications like Dext and Caseware Cloud.
YouTube Channel
Looking for ways to improve our client experience and support the small business community, we have launched a new Purpose CPA Youtube Channel. Our goal is simple, provide high-quality content to viewers to demystify one’s bookkeeping tasks. Bookkeeping can be complicated, but it doesn’t mean you should be unaware of what’s going on. And yes, we are happy to assist with your accounting needs, but we still require you to carry out some tasks which cannot be completed by us. We have no plans of becoming Youtubers anytime soon, so we expect to produce a few high-quality videos each year.
